For decades, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of quality education. When a worker understands food safety, lives are protected. Adel Lawson is a Chartered HSE and ESG professional (MSc, CFIOSH, NEBOSH Diploma) with over 20 years of international leadership experience across KSA, the United Kingdom, and the wider Gulf region. His career spans corporate, oil and gas, marine, aviation consulting, construction, and manufacturing environments — bringing a depth of real-world expertise to every program he leads at SHIFT.
A decisive leader with a proven record of building and directing cross-functional and virtual teams, Adel is recognised as an architect of large-scale HSE training programs. He has a demonstrated ability to earn buy-in from stakeholders at every level of a project — translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, embedded cultures of safety and excellence.
As former Vice Chair of IOSH KSA and Managing Partner at SHIFT, Adel personally oversees the discipline expertise, research, and content creation that underpin SHIFT's health, safety, environment, welfare, and social sustainability programs. His contribution ensures that every learner at SHIFT benefits from internationally benchmarked, forward-thinking instruction rooted in decades of frontline practice.

With over 15 years of experience in commercial strategy and client engagement, Jasna Sikes drives SHIFT’s regional growth across the Middle East’s rapidly evolving HSE landscape. Her work spans key markets including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, where organisations increasingly seek internationally recognised training and professional development pathways.
Jasna leads the business development efforts, shaping long-term partnerships and ensuring that clients receive programmes aligned with their operational realities and regulatory expectations. She works closely with international awarding bodies, supporting approvals, accreditations, and collaborative initiatives that strengthen SHIFT’s ability to deliver globally benchmarked qualifications.
Her role extends beyond commercial strategy into hands-on project coordination. Acting as a central link between clients, consultants, instructors, and awarding bodies, Jasna ensures that every programme is communicated clearly, structured effectively, and delivered to the highest standards of compliance and quality.
Her contribution reflects SHIFT’s commitment to meaningful, region-wide impact — supporting safer workplaces, stronger competencies, and accessible professional growth for organisations across the Middle East.
